Saturday, April 4^{th -} LITERARY STROLL IN THE MONUMENTAL OLIVE GROVE.

A literary sunset stroll to discover the Masseria Brancati monumental trees.

During the walk, organized by the Park Dune Costiere in collaboration with the cooperative Ass. Serapia, the participants will enjoy verses and prose, from Homer to Ungaretti, to discover some of the many singular and fascinating olive sculptural trunks.

The walk continues with a visit to the amazing old farm and its ancient underground oil mill, example of industrial archeology and witness of the olive processing history.

The stroll will end at 8.30 pm, with a workshop to taste organic olive oil produced by the company. A flash light is recommended.

Monday, April 6^th - EASTER MONDAY in the PARK DUNE COSTIERE 

We’re pleased to invite you to spend the Easter Monday with us, having a 10 km hike in the Regional Natural Park Dune Costiere.

We’ll walk along the amazing beach, dunes, ancient olive groves, pastures, arable lands and the lame of the protected area, starting from the tower of San Leonardo.
We will visit the ancient river Morelli aquaculture facility, we will walk on fossil dunes and observe wild orchids; we will travel along the lame of Torrebianca. With a little luck, we will see the  birds of prey in migration.

The low difficulty hike will end at  pm. Hiking shoes and camera are recommended. Self prepared sack lunch.

Easter Monday by bike

Hike with us, in the Regional Park Dune Costiere from Torre Canne to Torre San Leonardo, to discover the dunes protecting the River Morelli wetland.

The path will develop in the internal small streets and will let us enjoy magnificent views and glimpses of nature. Starting from a former Maintenance House we will cross the village of Montalbano and reach the ancient Via Traiana, connecting Rome to Brindisi and currently used as a Adriatic bike lane.

We’ll show you the way the local farmers are taking care of the landscape and the local food products. We’ll enjoy our sack lunch in front of the sea. The return is scheduled for 4.30 pm.
